Bhoot Bangla Box Office Preview: Akshay Kumar starrer release time, screen count, advance booking and opening day

The much-loved pairing of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan is coming back with Bhoot Bangla. As the horror comedy drama is set to hit the big screens in just a few hours, here’s a look at its screen count, censor report, distribution, advance booking and more.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, Bhoot Bangla is set to release across over 3200 screens in India by Penn Marudhar under Penn Movies. An increase in screen numbers can be seen in the final phase. Talking about its sensor details, the makers have locked a final runtime of 164.52 minutes, which translates to 2 hours 44 minutes and 52 seconds. It has been censored by the Censor Board of Film Certification with a U/A 16+ certificate.

Advance booking of Bhoot Bangla was opened on Tuesday morning, two days before its Thursday preview. It is seeing good sales at the box office. With its paid previews starting at 9 pm tonight, the horror-comedy is expected to close its advance sales by registering around 65,000 to 70,000 admissions for the opening day including previews at top national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis.

Based on the current trends, buzz and advance sales, the Akshay Kumar starrer is looking to open in double digits. It is expected to open in the range of Rs. 12 crore to Rs. 16 crores at the Indian box office, including Rs. also includes. 2 to 3 crore previews on Thursday.

Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhoot Bangla stars Wamiqa Gabbi alongside Akshay Kumar. The film stars an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Jisoo Sengupta, Mithila Palkar, Late Asrani and others. It will be interesting to see how the film performs at the box office.
