India Today Review Note that there are moments of humor in the film, but they are brief. It found that the comedic performances of Asrani, Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal rely too heavily on physical comedy, which some viewers may find dated. The review also noted that the horror elements are driven by the strong background score, although they do not always succeed in creating consistent tension.
