bha bha bha, for less Fear, devotion, polynomial (Fear, Devotion, Respect) is presented as Dilip’s “great comeback” that he had been waiting for. From the trailer to the film’s promotional materials, the film is considered the actor’s greatest return to comedy, a genre that had originally defined his career. Mohanlal will be in a cameo role bha bha ba Help Dilip get the “comeback” he’s been hoping for? Keep reading to find out what we feel.
bha bha ba ki Releasing so soon after Dileep’s acquittal in the controversial 2017 Malayalam actor attack case, the film feels like a deliberate attempt to address the fallout, challenging any attempts to separate art from the public narrative of the actor.
Dileep plays an unnamed character – an eccentric, fast-talking man with his trademark antics. He plans to kidnap Kerala Chief Minister CK Joseph (Baiju Santosh) right under the nose of the state police and media. Nobel (Vineet Srinivasan), a policeman and son of CK Joseph, is assigned the task of capturing Dilip and saving his father.
bha bha ba There is a wealth of funky characters that force us to look beyond logic. Assisting Nobel is Assistant Commissioner Akshar (Sandy), who is leading a group of incompetent officers to solve the case. What is the purpose of Dilip’s character? Who is supporting him? Why was the Chief Minister kidnapped? All these questions and more are answered in the two-hour and 30-minute long film.
A few seconds into the film, the tagline “No Logic, Only Madness” appears in big, bold letters accompanied by pulsating music. bha bha ba It makes it clear that this is an illogical movie that relies on star power, meta references, and bizarre characters. In short, it’s a wish good bad uglyAjit Kumar’s film which became a blockbuster despite lacking a strong story. right here bha bha ba Suffers the most. A thin story incoherent and completely devoid of any emotion.
Within the first half hour, bha bha ba It seems like this is a film that is filled with what Dilip has to say after his recent acquittal. In his introduction, a character introduces him as a madman who shook the kingdom. Once Dilip enters, he says that the law will take its course and he is coming to clear all the rumors about him.
The film focuses on a “kidnapping” incident, an indirect reference to the case he was accused of masterminding. And, as mentioned in the trailer, Dileep’s character says that his face is plastered all over the state and he is trending everywhere. At another crucial juncture, his character says that he will take revenge on the media, press and whoever is against him. It almost feels as if Dileep is breaking the fourth wall and addressing the public to clear his tarnished image. It is difficult to ignore these dialogues as merely part of the film.
said that, bha bha ba Works in some instances when it’s self-aware. When Vineeth and Dhyan Srinivasan are made fun of on their real life examples, the film becomes funny. Mohanlal picks up the otherwise dull second half, which relies on all the clichés of any action comedy. Performance-wise, Dileep appears with one-note expressions throughout, lacking the comic timing that once defined his career. Vineeth Srinivasan is effective in conveying his anti-hero character, bringing some much-needed energy to the proceedings.
bha bha ba ki Armo’s exceptional camera work is its greatest asset. Be it a fight scene or a kidnapping attempt, you are stunned by the creativity.
The film also suffers from forced meta references. Some of them work in the film’s favour, while a good number of them fail. Mohanlal plays the role of a Vijay fan named Ghilli Bala. bha bha baHis screen presence lights up the theater, and his witty one-liners work well, But the cameo overstays its welcome, as it hardly adds any value to the story,
bha bha ba Wastes its technical brilliance and sporadic humor with a paper-thin story that feels less like entertainment and more like a public relations exercise. Despite promising “no logic, only madness”, the film offers none – it is merely a throwaway, self-indulgent medium for Dileep to address his critics. It had the ingredients for a funny, self-aware romance – strong technical work, meta humor and star cameos. But the film collapses under the burden of its own agenda.
