Watch: Prabhas thanks Japan before Kalki’s release, promises to watch it together
Ahead of the release of Kalki in Japan, Prabhas addressed his Japanese fans in an emotional new video. This blockbuster film is set to release in theaters across the country on January 3, 2025.
Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and others, is set to release in Japan on January 3, 2025. Ahead of the grand opening in the country, Prabhas addressed his Japanese fans in a heartfelt video and expressed his gratitude to them.
In the video, Prabhas says, “Hello Japan. Thank you very much for the love you have shown me and my films over the years. I have been waiting to come to Japan for a long time. I am very, very happy. ” Sorry, I am no longer able to participate due to a sprain I sustained during the shoot. But I promise to meet you soon and enjoy the release of Kalki 2898 AD with all of you on 3rd January in Japan very soon. Arigato (sic).”

Kalki: 2898 AD, which has already seen success in India, will be distributed in Japan by Twin, with distribution handled by Kabata Keizo.
