Akshay Kumar wrote an emotional note remembering Asrani before the release of Bhoot Bangla and called it a tribute to the late legend.
Akshay Kumar is preparing for the release of his upcoming horror-comedy. ghost bangla, Who There will be a paid preview ahead of its theatrical debut on Friday. Ahead of the film’s arrival in theatres, the actor went down memory lane by remembering his old colleague Asrani with a heartfelt tribute, which adds an emotional layer to the release.
Sharing a monochrome behind-the-scenes moment from the shoot, Akshay gave fans a glimpse of the time they spent together on the sets. The photo shows both actors dressed in character, immersed in their script, capturing a quiet but meaningful moment from the making of the film.

Reflecting on their long association, Akshay wrote, “Sometimes a photo is not just a piece of memory, it captures an entire journey. This picture is from the shoot of our Bhoot Bangla. The film also marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar with filmmaker Priyadarshan after their 2010 collaboration Khatta Meetha. Along with Akshay, the film stars Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Vamika Gabbi and the late Asrani.
