Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed reunite for the much-awaited fantasy drama ‘Barzakh’. The show premiered on ZEE5 and Zindagi’s YouTube channel on July 19. After watching the inaugural episode last night, viewers shared their thoughts on their respective social media handles.

‘Barzakh’ is a supernatural fantasy drama that revolves around Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, who play the lead pair of Sheheryar and Scheherazade respectively. Fans have praised the show’s cinematography, its cool scenes, and the actors’ performances. Read some reviews here:

Directed by Asim Abbasi, ‘Barzakh’ is set in the beautiful Hunza Valley of Pakistan. The six-episode series addresses mental health, postpartum depression, generational trauma and gender inclusivity.

‘Barzakh’ will air every Tuesday and Friday at 8 pm on ZEE5 and YouTube.
