Amid the ongoing outrage against the rape and murder of a 31-year-old trainee doctor in Kolkata, actor Ayushmann Khurrana recited a heart-wrenching poem. Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Vijay Verma and many other celebs have demanded justice against the brutality of the incident.

Ayushmann is one of the first celebs to show solidarity with the ongoing Kolkata rape-murder protests. He recited a poem titled ‘I wish I was a boy too (I wish I was a boy)’, this song will shake you up.

Many social media users have reacted to Ayushmann’s video.

A 31-year-old post-graduate trainee (PGT) doctor was found dead at the government RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata on August 9 (Friday). A civic volunteer was arrested on August 10 in the case. On Tuesday, the Calcutta High Court handed over the investigation into the murder and rape of the trainee doctor in Kolkata to the CBI. The post-mortem report revealed that she was gang-raped.
