The most awaited release of the year, with just 12 weeks to reach one of ‘War 2’, director Ayan Mukherjee shared a glimpse behind the curtain.

Mukherjee shared a series of back-to-back scenes (BTS) photographs on his Instagram handle, which included actors Hrithik Roshan, Junior NTR and Kiara Advani. Along with the photos, he also shared a heartfelt note on his journey, directing the action-pack sequel.

Mukherjee, known for his work on ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Brahmstra’, expressed his excitement in a detailed caption with BTS photos. He wrote, “A few days ago with the release of the teaser of our film, and our big beautiful film for 12 weeks before the hit theaters, I take the right time to share some ideas,” he wrote.

Highlighting the emotional core of the film, Mukherjee said, “While our film has done a lot to offer our audience with its big screen spectacle energy, today I want to draw attention to the fact to inspire me the most about War 2″ – that the origin of this film is a very powerful and dramatic story. ” He described the story as both surprising and challenging, called it “new and deep dives in the detective universe style.”

The director also took an opportunity to take a bath on his artists and colleagues. He described Kiara Advani as “Sunshine’s Kiran and a dear friend in the film”, and appreciated the performance of Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR, called him “two giants”, whose “drama and depth” placed the film beyond action spectacle.

Mukherjee expressed special gratitude to producer Aditya Chopra, credited him for the opportunity to direct the film and his guidance in the last two years. “Sri Aditya Chopra’s absolutely wonderful leadership-he gave me this incredible opportunity to cooperate with Shri Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s once a lifetime pair!”

As enthusiasm is created, Mukherjee promised more updates under the leadership of the release of the film. He signed with gratitude and enthusiasm, wrote, “A lot to share in the coming days, but for now, just putting a lot of gratitude for our teaser drop … and to share a lot of excited energy for our audiences too much to share a lot of ‘war 2’ magic in the days! 14 August 2025 (East of my birthday)!

The film is a follower of the 2019 blockbuster ‘War’ and Yash Raj Films (YRF) is the sixth installment in Spy Universe. The recently released teaser has already ignited a wave of expectation, fans appreciated the high-octane visual and star-stad Ensambal.
