‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ director Ayan Mukerji has expressed deep gratitude over the film receiving three National Awards.
The film won the Best Music Direction (Background Music), Best Male Singer and Best Film in the AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comic) category at the 70th National Film Awards.
Reacting to the accolades, Mukerji shared his heartfelt feelings: “This is a special day for us. I am so grateful for the recognition that ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ has received at the National Awards. The music of the film holds a special place in all of our hearts. Pritam da’s compositions, coupled with Amitabh’s lyrics and Arijit’s voice, is something I feel so proud and grateful for! From the music to the visual effects, we have put so much love into making this film, and I thank the entire team for this wonderful collaborative effort that continues to shower us with so much love.”

‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ is a 2022 film that combines Hindu mythology with a modern story. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is based on Shiva, a young man with pyrokinetic abilities, who discovers his true identity and destiny.
Featuring a star cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna, the film can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
