Away from my heart: Celina Jaitley remembers sons on Christmas amid divorce fight
Celina Jaitley has filed for divorce from her husband Peter Haag, accusing him of multiple abuses and preventing him from seeing their three sons.

In a new social media post, actress Celina Jaitley has accused her estranged husband Peter Haag of blocking her access to their three sons. This came after Jaitley took legal action to end her marriage with the Austrian hotelier and filed a 199-page petition in the court. According to the petition, the actress has not only sought divorce but has also highlighted the difficulties she has faced regarding her parental rights.
Jaitley alleges that Haag’s actions have adversely affected his relationship with his children and his ability to maintain contact with them. In his emotional social media post, the actor explained his grief over not being able to spend the holidays with his three sons.
“#christmaseve Love doesn’t disappear when you are kept apart, it only hurts louder. Every prayer tonight knows your name by heart. My dear boys. This Christmas Eve is the first Christmas away from the pieces of my heart. Winston, Viraj and Arthur. In 13 years, and 8 years for Attu, I have never spent a Christmas without you. Despite all the pain and sorrow over so many years.. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it just for you. Just to spend every day with you, every Christmas with you,” she wrote.

He also expressed his desire to be with his sons during the holiday season ahead.
“Bake cookies for you. Make pani puri or aloo paranthas with your favorite spices, teach algebra. Get angry at you when you play too much. Then hug you, kiss you, bathe you so much you hate it, make a snowman, feed carrots to Penny (our bunny), cuddle together while it snows outside the giant cedar in our garden, watch “The Uncanny Counter” and much more, My dear puppies. It hurts to remember and write through the tears of beautiful memories, my puppies, I can’t believe I won’t even get a chance to talk to you/hear your voice this Christmas,” Celina further wrote.
Petition details alleged abuse Jaitley says that he endured during the marriage. Every form of alleged abuse, emotional, physical, verbal and sexual, is outlined in documents submitted to the court. The detailed description reflects the complexity and seriousness of his claims.
Jaitley’s legal case seeks protection measures for herself and her children, under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. This Indian law provides civil remedies to women who allege domestic violence, including the right to live in a shared household and protection from further harm. Therefore, Jaitley’s plea not only seeks legal separation but also aims to ensure safety and continued contact with his children.
No public statement has yet come from Peter Haag regarding the allegations. With divorce proceedings and a legal case under the Domestic Violence Act pending, the focus now turns to the next steps in the judicial process. The case has attracted public interest due to the nature of the allegations and the high-profile individuals involved.
