Marvel has released the first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, which introduces Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom and a crossover of MCU, Fantastic Four, and X-Men characters. The footage has drawn rave reviews from fans over its CGI, missing heroes, and the surprise return of a young Steve Rogers.

Marvel may have gathered some of its biggest superheroes for this Avengers: DoomsdayBut the first trailer has left X users debating something else entirely: visual effects. Soon after the trailer was released, many viewers started comparing its scenes with the much-talked-about Ramayana Jhalak, some people even claim that the Indian epic looks better.

While the scale of the crossover excited fans, the trailer’s CGI quickly became a talking point. Some viewers felt that many shots looked incomplete, while others described the scenes as resembling pre-rendered video game cutscenes.

An Another user compared the trailer to an old video game, writing, “Looks like a pre-rendered CG trailer for a 2012 video game.”

The Russo Brothers’ visual style also came under criticism. One viewer wrote, “You know you’re watching the Russo Brothers the avenger The movie when the characters fight in the worst environment possible. It’s actually a shame that this is an ‘adaptation’ of a colorful medium like comics.”

However, the trailer did not face criticism alone. Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom emerged as one of its biggest talking points. The actor uses a distinctive Eastern European accent for the role, which helps distinguish the villain from Tony Stark, the character he has played in several MCU films.

The return of familiar characters also added to the excitement. Fans welcomed the glimpses of Thor, Loki, Wolverine, Shang-Chi, and Sue Storm, while longtime comic book readers were particularly excited by the references to the Xavier School and the collision of different Marvel universes.

However, the final moments of the trailer proved to be the most divisive. A young Steve Rogers appears as the “Miracle” who can save everyone and is seen controlling Mjolnir. While the moment thrilled some fans, others felt that bringing the character back risked undermining the emotional conclusion of her story. Avengers: Endgame.

Viewers also questioned the absence of some fan favorites, including Captain Marvel and Wanda Maximoff. One X user criticized Marvel for sidelining the characters despite their importance in the larger narrative of the MCU.
