Marvel Studios has released the first full trailer Avengers: DoomsdayRobert Downey Jr. was brought back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom instead of Iron Man. The footage shows a massive battle as the Avengers prepare to face Doom. This also includes a stunning appearance By Chris Evans, with glimpses of Letitia Wright’s Black Panther, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and James Marsden’s Cyclops.

In the trailer, Thor tells the team, “Put aside your petty squabbles… we need a miracle,” as the heroes prepare for the battle ahead. The footage places Doom at the center of the conflict, with Downey Jr. returning to a role that is now threatening the universe he once helped save.

A key moment in the trailer comes when Evans appears and stuns Thor. “That’s not possible,” Thor says, before Evans is seen holding Mjolnir in a brief moment. The trailer also marks the first full look at Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, following his brief appearance in Fantastic Four: The First Steps.
