Avengers Doomsday Concept Art: First Look at RDJ’s Doctor Doom, Loki and the Beast

Former Marvel visual development director Andy Park has shared Avengers: Doomsday concept art that shows Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom mask, Loki, and the returning X-Men. The artwork marks Park’s final completed film at Marvel Studios and gives an early look at characters who have not yet been seen in promotional material.

The first clear look at actor Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom mask is revealed via new concept art Avengers: Doomsday (2026) Shared by Andy Park, former director of Marvel’s visuals department. The artwork also offers fresh glimpses of several characters, including Loki and some returning X-Men who had not yet appeared in promotional material.

Park posted the illustration on X on July 11 and described the project as an important one in his Marvel Studios journey. “Avengers: Doomsday – the final completed film that I had the honor of leading as Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios,” he wrote on the social media platform. “This illustration commemorates that journey and highlights the characters and their looks for the first time. #AvengersDoomsday (sic).”

The image includes the first glimpse of X-Men characters such as Nightcrawler, played by Alan Cumming, Beast, played by Kelsey Grammer, and Mystique, played by Rebecca Romijn. It also features a mysterious image of Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, at the center of the artwork.

Park, who was part of Disney layoffs in April, also announced his departure at X. “Marvel Studios Visual Development: 2010-2026. The end of an era. I was there at the beginning of a team that broke the mold. 16 years, 40+ movies, and leading 15 movies as Director of Visual Development, the history we made (sic), I couldn’t be prouder of it.”

Avengers: Doomsday It looks set to be one of Marvel’s biggest movies yet, starring Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Baraich, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Big artists like Letitia are included. Wright et al.

The film is set for worldwide theatrical release on December 18, 2026.
