The Asus Zenbook S14 (UX5406SA-PZ357WS) features a 14-inch 3K ASUS Lumina OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500nits HDR peak brightness, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut for vibrant visuals. Designed for ultra-portability, the laptop is 1.1cm thick and weighs 1.2kg. Its lid is made of CeraLuminum, a mix of aluminium and ceramic, which offers enhanced durability. For thermal management, it comes with 2,715 CNC-machined cooling vents, which provide better optimal performance during demanding tasks, according to Asus.
Under the hood, the ZenBook S14 is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 2) with up to 48 TOPS from a neural processing unit (NPU) for advanced AI capabilities. It also includes Asus’ StoryCube app, which uses AI to simplify workflows by arranging scenes and creating clips. Features like AI noise cancellation and a full HD Essence IR camera promise to make video calls and online meetings even better.
The laptop features a variety of I/O ports, including one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Additional features include a 16:10 touchpad with smart gesture support, a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, and an FHD 3DNR IR camera with ambient light and color sensors. The device is backed by a 72Wh battery that promises long hours of usage on a single charge.
