The incident happened when Ashish Vidyarthi and Rupali were crossing the road after dinner and a speeding motorcycle hit them. Locals immediately alerted authorities, leading to a prompt response from emergency services. The couple was taken for medical examination, while the motorcyclist was shifted to Guwahati Medical College Hospital for treatment.

As concern and speculation began to circulate online, the student addressed the situation by going live on Instagram from the hospital. Appearing calm and composed, he assured fans that neither he nor his wife suffered serious injuries and urged people not to sensationalize the incident.

The actor clarified that Rupali is currently under medical observation as a precautionary measure and her condition is stable. He said both of them are recovering under medical supervision and there is nothing to worry about.
