Ashakal Aayiram follows a young social media influencer who dreams of becoming an actor. When a film production unit starts shooting in his neighborhood, it opens up an opportunity for him to pursue his aspirations.

However, his father, a typical Kerala family, strongly opposed the idea and urged him to focus on a more traditional career. His father’s sudden change in perspective ultimately allows him to pursue his long-suppressed passion, reflecting on his son’s journey. How both achieve their dreams forms the center of the story.
