Art the Clown star ‘almost vomited’ while filming a scene for Terrifier 3: Know the details

A new Terrifier movie is coming to theaters in October that continues the story of Art the Clown, but the franchise is known for its gore, and star David Howard Thornton (the Joker himself) admits there’s a scene in the new movie that almost made him throw up. Even Thornton admitted to Empire that he had some struggles during the scene, though everyone else found his reaction funny.

He said that one particular moment during filming was hard for him to handle. He didn’t say exactly what it was, but he said that it almost made him vomit. “I don’t want to say what it was, but I almost vomited. Of course, everyone thought it was funny that I was having that reaction,” he said. Those around him were happy, some even feeling victorious that they finally got such a reaction from him.

Thornton also hinted at a scene in the film that he believes will be very controversial. He said that the horror of the scene may shock audiences, adding that people may be shocked by what happens. Although the scene is very intense, Thornton mentioned that he likes the bloodshed, calling it “cartoon violence”. He likes experimenting with elements that have never been seen before.
