Arjun’s Instagram post read, “Happy birthday mom, I’m missing you so much today (heartbreak emoticon) Life has been pretty cruel to me lately, but that’s okay, I’ve taken punches before taking them again and still standing up because you’ve taught me how to stand up to life and fight, while still being gracious and dignified… We’ll get through this together, you and I (red heart emoticon) “I’ll see you again soon and we’ll do this.” Let us celebrate your birthday together someday, your dear son.”
Responding to the post, director Siddharth Anand wrote, “Biggest hug my brother…(sic).” Arjun’s uncle – actor Sanjay Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Zoya Akhtar, Jacqueline Fernandez and others commented with heart emojis.
