Blake Shelton has quite the internet’s favorite guessing game. While co-hosting Country Countdown USA last Saturday, the country star directly attacked rumors of a late 2025 divorce with wife Gwen Stefani.
With his characteristic dry wit, Blake poked fun at modern tabloid culture. He laughed at how the story seemed to change entirely based on his actions. "I started seeing these articles about ‘Blake and Gwen, they’ve split up.’" they shared. "And then, a week later, a photo of us walking out of the grocery store comes up… ‘Oh, they’re back together again!’"
He also admitted that some "Proof" Fans think it’s so well edited online that it almost baffles them. "I look at pictures of Gwen and me on social media and I literally say, ‘This looks so real.’ But I know I don’t even have that shirt, or ‘Whose car is that?’" The singer confessed that the sheer volume of misinformation has made him a complete skeptic: "I don’t believe everything I see on the internet anymore."
The couple, who rose to fame following their respective divorces while coaching on The Voice in 2015, have been inseparable ever since. From co-writing heartbreaking songs to their intimate 2021 wedding at Blake’s Oklahoma ranch, their journey has always been under a microscope.
Gwen tried to quiet the noise earlier this month by posting a cozy video of their New Year’s Eve kiss in 2026.
In a previous heart-to-heart conversation with People, Blake reflected on reaching his 10-year milestone in 2025. While he acknowledged that “10 years is a long time,” he expressed surprise at how their connection has not lost its luster. “I think that might be the key to happiness, that it feels that exciting and new and happy,” they shared, proving that even after a decade, they’re still in the honeymoon phase.
