Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di aka Ardaas 3 starring Gippy Grewal and Jasmin Bhasin has emerged as a huge, successful film at the box office. The Punjabi film is running very well and has surpassed the blockbuster wave of BB Rajni at the global box office in just 12 days.
Ardaas 3 grossed Rs 33.50 crore worldwide, became a superhit
The devotional film is pulling audiences to the theatres and its popularity is not going to wane anytime soon. Written, directed and produced by actor Gippy Grewal, Ardaas 3 has packed a strong punch at the ticket window. While the film is close to touching the Rs 10 crore nett mark in India, it has already crossed the Rs 30 crore mark globally, which is phenomenal.
Talking about the domestic run, the film has earned Rs 3.40 crore in its second week, with two days left in stock. It is expected to collect Rs 4.50 crore nett by the end of the second week, which is a slight drop from the Rs 6.15 crore collection of the first week. The total collection of Ardaas 3 in 12 days has become Rs 9.55 crore nett (Rs 11 crore gross) in India.
The film is doing exceptionally well in overseas markets where it has grossed around Rs 22.50 crore, which is double what it earned in India. Ardaas 3 has currently grossed Rs 33.50 crore till its 12th day, which is the second Tuesday at the worldwide box office.
Ardaas 3 faced the wave of BB Rajni’s blockbuster; managed to surpass it globally
Gippy Grewal’s film has become the third successful Punjabi film in the month of September after Gandhi 3 and Bibi Rajni. The film is doing wonders at the box office even in its fourth week, although it is a much smaller film than Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di.
BB Rajini is ruling the box office where it has grossed around Rs 32.50 crore globally of which Rs 15.70 crore came from the domestic markets. Though Ardaas 3 managed to surpass BB Rajini’s worldwide collections, the film is still unable to beat it in the domestic markets.
