Listen to the story

Apple launched his Watch Ultra 2 in 2023 and a new black titanium variant after a year, which was honestly no upgrade. But now the rumor is that in 2025, Apple is finally planning to bring Watch Ultra 3. While the company has not officially announced the device, the rumor is that Apple Watch Ultra 3 may have high blood pressure detection, a bright display and satellite connectivity. It is also speculated that the upcoming high-end watch will sports a slim design language. Let’s deeply in what is coming.
Apple Watch Ultra 3: 3 Expected Upgrade
Blood pressure monitor
One of the most anticipated characteristics rumored for the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra 3 is the ability to detect hypertension. Apple has been allegedly working on a blood pressure-tracking technique for many years, and according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Ultra 3 can be the first model to start this long-awaited function.
Gurman noted that while the feature would not provide exact systolic and diastolic reading, it would monitor the blood pressure trends and inform users if high blood pressure signs emerge. If introduced, it can be a possible life-protecting joint, given that high blood pressure often becomes undetermined until it moves to serious conditions such as heart damage or stroke.
Apple’s smartwatches already offer health equipment such as atrial fibrillation alerts, ECG capabilities and blood oxygen monitoring – although the later patent issues are incompeted in the US due to the currently ongoing patent issues. The inclusion of high blood pressure tracking will further strengthen Apple’s health-focused prasads, which have been repeatedly valuable in emergency medical conditions.
Satellite connectivity
Apple first brought satellite connectivity to the iPhone 14, enabled users to send texts when the grid shutdown – later increased to the iPhone 15 and 16. So far, however, this ability has not made its way for Apple Watch.
It is set to convert to 2025, Apple plans to introduce satellite messaging in Apple Watch Ultra. This will allow users to send the texts through the satellite when mobile networks and Wi-Fi are unavailable. Initially it was designed only for emergency use, this feature has been widened with iOS18 to support the message with any contact.
5g connectivity
In a major development, Apple is allegedly set to move away from using the Intel Cellular Modem in the future Apple Watch model, choosing instead of MediaTek technology. MediaTek modem will support 5G recapap – a version of 5G for wearballs and connected devices that do not require full bandwidth of standard 5G. Although iPhones have supported 5G for some time, apple watches with cellular capabilities are so far limited to 4G LTE, making this change a significant step ahead.
