Apple has introduced a new membership service called Applecare One, which is in a bid to simplify users for the safety of their equipment. At a price of $ 19.99 per month (about Rs 1,700), the scheme allows users to cover three apple devices under a single umbrella, with the option to add more gadgets for $ 5.99 (about 500 rupees) each month. It is designed for those who own many Apple products such as iPhones, iPads, or Apple watches and want an easy, more economical way to manage service and support. From July 24, this service will be available to users in the US through Apple’s website, retail store, or direct iPadone, iPad or MAC in the US.
The main benefit of Applecare One is simplicity. Instead of jugging several Applecare+ plans for various devices, Applecare Forest draws everything in a monthly payment. Coverage includes protection against accidental damage (drops and spills), as well as battery support and preference for apple’s customer service. Theft and loss protection, which was earlier available only to iPhones, is now extended to iPads and Apple watches. This can be a large plus for those who use their iPad or run regularly.
Already in the Apple ecosystem for users, this new plan can help cut costs. Apple says that taking membership of Applecare One instead of three separate applecare+ schemes can save users up to $ 11 (about 950 rupees) every month. And most importantly, it does not matter which three products you choose – the price remains the same regardless regardless of device.
Another interesting part of Applecare One is that you do not need to buy a new iPhone, MAC or iPad to enroll. Tools up to four years (headphones should be under one year of age) can be added to the plan, as long as they are in good condition. To confirm this, the Apple may ask for a clinical check on your device or at the nearby Apple Store.
It is also very easy to manage your plan. If you trade in a device with Apple, it will automatically be removed from a plan and replaced with new. Since it is a monthly subscription, there is no long-term lock-in, and users can adjust which equipment contains whenever they want.
“In Apple, we are focusing on creating and distributing extraordinary experiences,” said Bob Borches, Vice President of Apple’s Worldwide Product Marketing. “Applecare One, built on the reliable foundation of Applecare+, expands the same reliability and makes more easier than ever to protect the products you love and depend.”
Hunt? The scheme is currently being launched only in the US, and there is no word on when or what will happen in other areas like India.
