Director Anurag Basu recently opened his upcoming love story with Karthik Aryan and Sreelela. With the completion of the final schedule, he talked about the film title and release date announcement.
Basu, in an interview News18 Showsha, Confirmed that Karthik and Srilela would soon resume the shoot for their next direction. He said, “Half of this is half, half is left. The shooting will start very soon, and the film will be completed within a month.”
The director of the ‘Metro in Dino’ also mentioned the title announcement of the film, temporarily called ‘Aashiqui 3’. “We will soon announce the title and release date. I’m just focusing on wrapping it well,” Basu said. Karthik, Srilela music is supported by Bhushan Kumar and Krishna Kumar.

Basu’s first release of 2025, ‘Metro in Dino’ was released in theaters. The film is a spiritual sequel to ‘Life in a Metro’ (2007), directed by him. The latest claims an artist contingent in lead roles including Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher and Saswata Chatterjee.
In the heart of a stirring city, the film is about four different couples in different age groups. This emphasizes how love also finds its way between the rise and chaos of the life of the city. In the story, the lives of individuals are facing their challenges, while searching for their voice in search of love.
