Grandson of late veteran actor Amrish Puri, Vardhan Puri entered showbiz with the film Yeh Saali Aashiqui, released in 2019. Vardhan, who has appeared in a handful of films in his career so far, recently shared how he is inspired by Amitabh Bachchan.
The young actor recalled that Anupam Kher had once shared an anecdote about working with Big B.

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Now, Vardhan Puri along with Anupam Kher shared his experience of working with Amitabh Bachchan on the film sets and how it had a positive impact on his life.
Vardhan revealed that while Kher was shooting with the megastar in Hyderabad, the weather was extremely hot and the air conditioners on the sets were not working. The Saaransh actor asked the director to take the shot quickly as he was feeling very hot.
Meanwhile, Kher spotted Big B wearing a kurta-pyjama, jacket and shawl.
“I am burning here, you are sitting here and don’t you feel hot?” Vardhan quoted Kher as saying.
Quoting Big B, the Bloody Ishq actor said, “When I think about heat I feel hot, but if I don’t think about it it doesn’t affect me.”
Vardhan Puri told how he sees this incident in his life
In the same interview, Vardhan Puri mentioned the incident of Anupam Kher and Big B and told how he looks at life. Vardhan believes that if you are successful or privileged, then many times you feel burdened.
Vardhan further said that his family has the “greatest teachers” who taught him about life and cinema. Elaborating further, the actor said that he feels it’s his responsibility to carry forward their legacy.
Vardhan said that he handles this responsibility “fantastically” and it wakes him up every morning and motivates him to work hard.

Vardhan Puri has also worked in films like Aashq, Dashmi and Bloody Ishq. He worked in the film The Last Show with Anupam Kher in 2021. The actor is now preparing for the film Nautanki.
