Imagine a future where a billion-dollar business is run by a person: no huge teams, no fancy boardrooms and no endless meetings. Just one person and a very powerful AI assistant. According to Anthropic co-founder and CEO Dario Amodi, that future cannot be so far away. In fact, it may soon come as 2026. Speaking at Anthropic’s recent “Code with Cloud” developer conference in San Francisco, Amodi made a striking prediction: he says that it is very likely that we will see a single-person company reaching a billion-dollar evaluation in the next year, thanks to AI.

He answered an anthropic Chief Product Officer (Instagram’s Co-Station) A question by Mike Crorer. He asked if such a scenario was also possible. Amodi did not hesitate: “Yes, I think it will happen.” The anthropic CEO also later softened its stance as he said that 70 to 80 percent likely to have their prediction will come true, but it is still an adventure bet where the world is leading the world.

So what kind of business can be run by only one person and on a scale to such heights?

Amodei pointed to industries that do not depend much on the processes run by the people. His top pick? Own trading, where firm customers invest their capital rather than managing money. AI does not seem like a science fiction anymore, with crunching data, spotting trends, and even faster decisions compared to any human trader.

Another area for single disintegration is the ripened developer device. Think of a software engineer building products for other developers, to write and maintain almost all codes using AI. With automation customer aid, billing and even marketing care, the loan founder can fully focus on the manufacture and improvement of the product.

This is not the first time Amodei has made such forward -looking claims. Ops 4 is being picked as the most advanced coding model on the market, designed for long, complex projects and agent-style functions that AI needs to function independently. Sonnet 4, meanwhile, is a sharp, more efficient model available for free-level users, a step that reflects the intentions of anthropic to make high quality AI more accessible.

Amodi and his team believe that these equipment will do more than helping developers to write better codes. They will allow people to make full business, from scratch, on their own.

Of course, there are still obstacles. Legal, regulators and trust issues remain when it comes to fully automated businesses. And not every industry will open to A-LED disintegration. But Amodei is confident that the first wave of one-person unicorn, the price of startups is more than $ 1 billion, which will reach sooner than expected. And when this happens, we may have to release whatever we know about entrepreneurship.
