British star Andrew Garfield recently revealed the terms under which he will return to the Spider-Man franchise. The We Live in Time star said he would don the suit again if the role was exciting enough.
Speaking to Esquire, the actor described playing Spider-Man in No Way Home as a ‘healing’ experience and shared, “Definitely, if it’s the right thing, if it’s connecting with the culture, then I would 100 percent come back with a great concept or something that hasn’t been done before, that’s unique and weird and exciting and that you might be interested in.”
“I love that character, and it brings joy. If part of what I bring is happiness, then I am happy in return,” the Oscar nominee said.
Garfield played Spider-Man in the Amazing Spider-Man series, which was canceled after two films failed to connect with audiences.
