Shawn Levy, director of blockbuster hits Deadpool and Wolverine, has shared a Thor Easter egg that fans may have missed from the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film. Even after its successful release, the film continues to garner love and attention from audiences. The photo shows him, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Ryan Reynolds sitting on Hulk’s bed from Thor: Ragnarok.
“And yes, that’s Hulk’s bed from Ragnarok that you saw Feige and us sitting on in (Ryan Reynolds’) post,” Levy wrote. Deadpool and Wolverine have an interesting star-studded storyline. The story centers on Deadpool discovering that the Time Variance Authority is planning to destroy his universe.
To save his planet from destruction, he teams up with a reluctant Wolverine, whose world has already been destroyed. The Multiverse of Madness included several versions of Deadpool, from Lady Deadpool to Dogpool.
Chris Evans also had a few cameos, but not as Captain America but as Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch in the 2005 Fantastic Four movie. Wesley Snipes also makes a notable appearance as an older Blade and delivers a memorable dialogue.
Channing Tatum finally resurrected his MCU character, the Cajun X-Men Gambit; Jennifer Garner appeared in 2003’s Daredevil and 2005’s Elektra and added her own charm to the film. Pyro played by Aaron Stanford; Cavillerin played by Henry Cavill; and X-23 played by Dafne Keen were some of the other characters that surprised audiences.
The film revived the MCU and became a box office smash, grossing an impressive $68.9 million worldwide. With a 78% Rotten Tomatoes score and an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences, the film is breaking records and earning significant revenue globally.
