Ananya Panday shares a close bond with her childhood BFFs, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. The trio are often spotted out and about in public and shower each other with love on social media. Recently, the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actress shared that she lacked training for her debut film compared to her friends who are now starting their careers. Ananya, who is the senior actress in her girl gang, expressed that her friends already know how to deal with the media.
In the latest conversation with Humans of Bombay, Ananya Panday sheds light on her journey in Bollywood and how it is different from her friends who have started/now starting their careers.
“Everyone’s journey is very different… I am very happy with the time I started. Whenever I see my friends starting at the age of 24-25, I feel they are doing very well. Well prepared. He has completed all his classes. He knows how to deal with the media,” Ananya said.
The Call Me Bay star shared that she comes prepared on the sets, however, the actress believes that she lacked the same during her initial career in Bollywood. Although Ananya is satisfied with how her career is going, she believes there is still a long way to go.
The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress further said that she is grateful for the start of her career in 2019. Citing the example of her debut film Student of the Year 2, the actress said she was not sure if filmmakers would do this. Make movies like they made in the pre-pandemic era.
The young actress recalled that the pandemic era was quite different. Ananya said that now, a lot of things have changed including the audience’s preferences for consuming content.
The 25-year-old actress also mentioned how the emergence of OTT platforms after the pandemic has affected the content, adding that she is not sure how her first film will turn out.
Suhana Khan made her Bollywood debut in 2023 with Zoya Akhtar’s teen musical comedy, The Archies. Now she has King, co-starring her father, superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
On the other hand, Shanaya Kapoor is gearing up for Vrishabha, a pan-Indian film directed by veteran South actor Mohanlal.
