Radhika Merchant looks like royalty in her farewell look
The world witnessed the adorable union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on July 12. The couple got married as per traditional rituals and danced their hearts out in the presence of their loved ones.
She arrived in a stunning red and white outfit reflecting her Gujarati roots for the main rituals of her wedding, while the bride wore a multi-panel Banarasi brocade lehenga in sunset colours for her farewell. A few minutes ago, celebrity stylist and producer Rhea Kapoor shared unseen glimpses of her second look and we are stunned.
Sharing details about Radhika’s outfit, Kapoor said that it is a tribute to the “timeless elegance of India” designed by Manish Malhotra. Merchant paired her lehenga with a stunning blouse that has “real gold embroidery work”.
The embroidery on it is inspired by the “traditional climate and rich textile heritage of Kutch” of the late 19th century. Along with the Banarasi woven dupatta, Radhika also wore a netted design veil that complemented her outfit beautifully.

For her jewellery, she paid tribute to her family and wore heirloom pieces that were once worn by her grandmother, mother and sister at their weddings. Popular celebrity drape artist Dolly Jain worked her magic on Radhika and helped her pull off that beautiful yet heavy outfit with ease. Loveleen Ramchandani and Hiral Bhatia made her look absolutely stunning with that subtle makeup.
For those who don’t know, the ceremony was attended by several celebrities from the entertainment, sports and music world. Several politicians and several international stars like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Nick Jonas and John Cena also attended the lavish Indian wedding ceremony.
