He further said, “My work was given to me.. when it is given to you, answer that question.. my reasons may not agree with you.. but because the right to expression has been given many tunnels of presence, you are heard.. you said, I heard, I gave a reason for doing the work.. that is me.. the reason I have is mine.. the shutters are closed and locked.. and the ‘impotence of subject-matter’ forces you to build your sand castles and enjoy its construction.. sand castles collapse with time.”
The 81-year-old actor, who recently shot for the Ganpati festival special episode of KBC 16, ended his post with these words, “You who make them, find a measure of durability .. if it’s built for you and your business .. mine is done and it’s still standing – I work .. period .. have a problem with that? Well then .. get to work and find out.”
Amitabh Bachchan was recently praised for his role as Ashwathama in Nag Ashwin’s film Kalki 2898 A.D. The actor has a few other films lined up apart from Vettaiyaan with Rajinikanth.
