Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan in his latest blog post has dedicated a tribute to his son Abhishek Bachchan, expressing his deep praise for his journey and courage as an artist. Drawing from personal memories and poetic contexts, Megastar committed Abhishek’s commitment to his craft and saw him as his true successor – not by birth, but by merit.

Sharing an quotation by his father, mythological poet Harivesh Rai Bachchan – “My son, just because you are my son, my inheriter, he will be my inheritors, my sons” – Big B admitted that Abhishek has earned that title through dedication and courageous options.

He praised his son’s diverse filmography, given that Abhishek has approached every role with honesty and firm confidence. Recalling a line written by the famous poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar in his childhood autograph book – “Success comes to those who dare and act” – Amitabh mentioned how Abhishek has adopted that feeling during his career.
