Many celebrities including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anupam Kher and others share their condolences on social media.

Shah Rukh Khan wrote to Shah Rukh Khan on X, “My prayers for the accident in Ahmedabad with the news … my prayers for the victims, their families and all the affected.”

Air India Ahmedabad-London flight crashed after flying from Sardar Vallabhi Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad. The aircraft crashed in a government hospital hostel in Meghaninagar. Former Gujarat Chief Minister, Vijay Rupani also died in an accident.

Only one passenger managed to survive out of 242 people in the aircraft. He was later identified as Vishkumar Ramesh, who was sitting in a passenger seat 11A.
