Actress Trisha’s attendance at Eka Lakhani’s wedding in Mumbai included moments with filmmaker R Parthiban’s daughter Keerthana, despite the ongoing tension with her father.
Actress Trisha attended costume designer Eka Lakhani’s wedding in Mumbai over the weekend and shared glimpses from the event on social media. The actor’s appearance and post attracted attention as she was recently seen with filmmaker R Parthiban’s daughter Keerthana amid the public controversy involving her and her father.
Trisha documented the festivities by reposting a group selfie taken with several guests, including Keertan. She captioned the photo, “The Gen Z and I.” The two were also seen in another picture standing together amid other wedding attendees.

Posting a video of Eka Lakhani and groom Ravi Bhagchandka at the wedding, Trisha wrote, “And then I saw the most beautiful bride. Love you my Eku.” She added another caption, “North Indian weddings are a vibe.”
At the event, Trisha also got a chance to meet filmmaker Mani Ratnam, with whom she also clicked a picture. In another picture, actor Siddharth is seen in the background.
“Out and about,” Trisha captioned her event post as she flaunted her purple saree and gold jewelery at the gathering.
The reference to the presence of Trisha along with the kirtan is notable because of the recent comments of R Parthiban. The filmmaker had earlier criticized Trisha and actor Vijay for attending a wedding reception together after personal growth in Vijay’s life. Trisha responded to Parthiban’s statements on social media, writing, “A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity more articulate. Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they are aimed at.”
After facing backlash, Parthiban apologized for the comments but later said that his public appearance affected Vijay’s political image, especially after the latter’s wife had accused him of infidelity in her divorce petition. He explained in a video that his criticism was not directed only at Trisha.
However, Trisha did not react to Parthiban’s video. Before leaving for Mumbai wedding, she avoided the media at Chennai airport.
