Amazon’s Spring Deal Days is the first big sales event from the retailer this year. Here we’ll focus on tablets and smartwatches, but we’ll also take a look at smartphone deals soon.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro are two 11.2″ tablets with 144Hz 12-bit IPS LCDs. The main difference is in the chipset – Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 for the vanilla model and Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Pro. Note: Storage is not expandable.
There are other differences too, for example the Pro has a 50MP main and 32MP selfie camera, while the vanilla model only has a 13MP main and 8MP selfie, but you don’t buy a tablet for its cameras. Both tablets have the same 9,200mAh battery, except the Pro has slightly faster charging (67W vs 45W).

The Pro model has a better quality LCD with a 120Hz (vs. 90Hz) refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. The vanilla model is powered by the Helio G100 Ultra chipset, while the Pro gets the more capable Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.

Moving on to smartwatches, we start with the new Apple Watch Series 11 models. It has a large 1.96″ rectangular display and is quite thin at 9.7 mm. It has ECG and a depth gauge up to 6 meters.

The Apple Watch SE 3 was updated at the same time (in September last year), but it’s basically an older model. It has a 1.78″ display and lacks advanced health features like an ECG. There is also no diving gauge.

The Apple Watch Ultra – the first one, not the 2nd or 3rd – costs less than the Series 11. It also has an ECG and is certified for diving up to 40 meters. And it’s not like the Ultra 3 has that many upgrades.

In the case of Wear OS, the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic brought back the rotating bezel with a “squarkle” design. It has ECG and blood pressure monitor.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch8 is similar without the rotating bezel. This allows the watch to have a larger display (1.47″ vs. 1.34″) in a smaller body (44 mm). In fact, the 40mm Watch8 matches the 1.34mm screen size of the Watch8 Classic. Even better, the vanilla model is only 8.6mm thin compared to the Classic’s 10.6mm.
Samsung revamped the Galaxy Watch Ultra in 2025 by doubling the storage to 64GB and adding a new band color. Otherwise, it’s still the same Ultra as it was in 2024.

If you’re not a fan of the squircle design, you can get an older Galaxy Watch7. It has a round body that is 1.1 mm thicker than the Watch8. It has a 1.5” display on the 44mm model and a 1.3” display on the 40mm model. The Watch7 and Watch8 are powered by the same Exynos W1000 chipset and both support ECG and blood pressure monitoring.

The Xiaomi Watch 5 is a Wear OS device with a 47mm stainless steel case and a 1.54″ display. It’s a tad thick at 12.3mm, but at least it has a larger 930mAh Si/C battery – for comparison, the Galaxy Watch Ultra has a 590mAh battery. And it also has an ECG sensor.
