Alpha Box Office Day 7: Alia Bhatt’s film earns close to Rs 80 crore worldwide in one week
Actress Alia Bhatt’s Alpha earned Rs 79.21 crore worldwide in its first week, inching closer to the Rs 80 crore milestone. The action thriller earned Rs 2.60 crore in India on its seventh day, taking its domestic total to Rs 47.55 crore.
Actor Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Alpha Continuing its dramatic performance with consistent collections, it has crossed the Rs 79 crore mark at the worldwide box office in its first week. Despite the decline in weekday earnings, the Shiv Rawail directorial has maintained its momentum and is now inching closer to the Rs 80 crore milestone globally.
According to trade website Sacnilk, Alpha On the seventh day, Rs 2.60 crore was earned through 7,018 shows in India. This takes the film’s total India net collection to Rs 47.55 crore, while its India gross now stands at Rs 56.66 crore.

The film earned Rs 1.25 crore from overseas markets on its seventh day, taking its international total to Rs 22.55 crore. With this, the worldwide gross collection of Alpha has reached Rs 79.21 crore after one week in theatres.
The action thriller opened on July 3 in India with earnings of Rs 9.25 crore and registered a worldwide opening of Rs 16.10 crore. It saw strong growth in its opening weekend, collecting Rs 11.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 13.25 crore on Sunday. By the end of the first weekend, the film had grossed approximately Rs 34 crore in India and Rs 58.80 crore worldwide.
The collections declined on the first Monday, with the film earning Rs 3.85 crore from 6,997 shows. It bounced slightly on Tuesday and earned Rs 4.25 crore from 7,173 shows, taking its worldwide total to cross Rs 70 crore and declined again during the rest of the week.

Alpha It received mixed reviews from critics. In its review, India Today The film was given a 2.5 star rating, praising Alia Bhatt’s performance while highlighting the script issues.
Part of the review reads, “That inequality becomes AlphaIs the biggest problem. There are many twists and turns in the film and the constant interruptions while getting things done eventually becomes tiring. Instead of creating intrigue, the script focuses more on creating shock value.”
Directed by Shiv Rawail and written by Uday Chopra, Alpha is the seventh installment in the YRF spy universe. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Dia Mirza in lead roles.
