Alpha Box Office Day 5: Alia Bhatt’s film crosses Rs 70 crore mark worldwide
Actress Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha recorded a slight jump in collections on Day 5, earning Rs 4.25 crore nett in India. The action thriller has now crossed the Rs 70 crore mark at the worldwide box office.

Actor Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Alpha Its performance continued at the box office on Tuesday (July 7) and a jump was recorded in the collections as compared to Monday. The action thriller earned an estimated Rs 4.25 crore in India on its fifth day, taking its total worldwide earnings to over Rs 70 crore.
According to trade website sacnilc, alfa Earned Rs 4.25 crore from 7,173 shows on the fifth day. With this, the total India net collection of the film stands at Rs 42.10 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 50.23 crore.

Overseas the film earned Rs 1.50 crore on Tuesday, taking its total international collection to Rs 19.80 crore. Its worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 70.03 crore.
Alpha It opened with earnings of Rs 9.25 crore in India on Friday and took an opening of Rs 16.10 crore worldwide. The film recorded a good growth over the weekend and collected Rs 13.25 crore on Sunday, registering a growth of 15.2 percent (Rs 11.50 crore) compared to Saturday. By the end of its opening weekend, the Shiv Rawail directed film had grossed an estimated Rs 34 crore in India and Rs 58.80 crore worldwide.
On Monday, the film earned an estimated Rs 3.85 crore from 6,997 shows, while Tuesday saw a slight increase in collections.

The film has received mixed response from critics. In its review, India Today Evaluation Alpha 2.5 stars, praising Alia Bhatt’s performance as Sita while criticizing the script for its inconsistency.
Part of the review reads, “That unevenness turns out to be Alpha’s biggest problem. The twists keep coming in the film, and while some work, the constant interruptions eventually become tiresome. Instead of building intrigue, the screenplay focuses more on creating shock value.”
Directed by Shiv Rawail and written by Uday Chopra, Alpha Released in theaters on 3 July. The seventh installment of the YRF spy universe also stars Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Dia Mirza in lead roles.
