Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rise is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films at the moment, with a release date of December 6, 2024. Recently, rumours of the film being delayed went viral. However, the film’s producer Ravishankar has now clarified that contrary to these reports, the film is on track.
At the teaser launch of the film Mathu Vadalara 2, producer Ravi Shankar addressed the most important question related to his next project, Pushpa 2: The Rise. For those who don’t know, the film faced scrutiny due to rumours of differences between Allu Arjun and the film’s director Sukumar. Moreover, there were also reports that the release might be postponed due to these issues.
However, Ravishankar refuted these claims and said that none of the rumours are true. He assured fans that the film has turned out to be absolutely phenomenal and the rest of the work will be completed by September.
He said, “Pushpa 2 has come out exceptionally…By September, we will complete the second part as well. By November, we will send it to theatres and confirm its December 6 screen release.”
Earlier, Allu Arjun himself had cleared the air about the release date of Pushpa 2 being pushed. He attended an event for the film Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam and dismissed the rumours that the film will not release later than 2025.
Replying with a swagger just like his character in Pushpa, Allu Arjun had commented, “I won’t say much. 6 December — assalu thugde le (I won’t back down). That’s for sure.”
Furthermore, Allu Arjun assured that he has full faith in his project, especially the way it is made. The actor expressed hope that everyone will like the film.
He said, “You know how you feel when you see how a film is turning out? You get a kind of confidence. I don’t know if I should call it confidence or not. But, the way the film is turning out… you all are going to like it.”
Apart from Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role, who is reprising her role in the first installment of the film.
