Allu Arjun mourned his grandmother’s death after his death at the age of 94. After the funeral of Allu Kankratanam, South Superstar took to his Instagram account, in which he shared an emotional tribute to his grandmother with fans. The actor thanked friends and family who showed during difficult times.
Allu Kankratnam died early on Saturday morning. But the cause of his death has not been identified yet. According to media reports, Pushpa Star was not in the city at that time.
Allu Arjun’s tribute to his grandmother
Taking it on his social media platform, the film star shared a picture of his grandmother and in the caption, wrote an emotional note. The actor said, “Our beloved grandmother, Allu Kanakaratnam Garu, now rests in his heavenly residence. His love, knowledge and appearance will be remembered every day.”
He added, “Heartfelt thanks to all those who came forward to share their affection and sensation. For those who were just felt as much as your prayers and love were felt. Thank you for your love. Humble.”
The Allu-Konida family came together to support each other through difficult times, as Ram Charan also canceled Peddi’s shoot to attend Allu Kankratanam’s funeral in Hyderabad.
Many other celebrities in the Telugu industry also marked their presence and shared their condolences. Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister, was said to embrace an emotional Allu Arjun as the family faces the loss of the elderly.
For those who are not aware, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan are cousins. His father, Allu Arvind and Chiranjeevi are siblings.
