Allu Arjun, Lokesh Kanagaraj announce new film, shooting will start this year
Lokesh Kanagaraj announces his next film starring Allu Arjun with viral Pongal-Makar Sankranti promo. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the untitled project features AA23 and LK7, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj on Wednesday announced his new film starring Allu Arjun. Marking Pongal and Makar Sankranti, he shared the news on social media. Coolie director A teaser was also unveiled, revealing that the film will begin shooting later this year. However, the title of this project has not been decided yet.
In the video shared by Lokesh on X, a man is roaming in the forest on a horse, even the mighty lions and dangerous wolves are seen afraid of him.
“Blessings from the best @alluarjun #AALoki,” Lokesh captioned the now-viral post. He further added, “Looking forward to embarking on this journey with you sir. Let’s make it a big bang. Once again with my brother @anirudhofficial #AA23 #LK7 @MythriOfficial (sic).”
Lokesh also used the hashtags #AA23 and #LK7, making the film his seventh directorial venture and Allu Arjun’s 23rd film. The project is being produced by Arjun’s blockbuster banner Mythri Movie Makers. Pushpa franchise, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
