Telugu star Allu Arjun has come under fire after a comment he made during his annual fan convention in Hyderabad on Tuesday went viral on social media. Urging fans to stop online trolling, the actor jokingly suggested that they should “wait outside the house of the girl of their choice” instead. His comments were criticized for allegedly normalizing stalking behavior.

Dressed in her signature black outfit, she also had a message for her “anti-fans and haters”, asking them not to waste time in spreading negativity online. Addressing the gathering, Allu Arjun said that people should stop wasting time in hating people they dislike and instead focus on things that give them happiness.

He said, “I have been wanting to say something to my fans, anti-fans and haters for a long time. If you don’t like someone, don’t waste time in hating and trolling them.”

He further added, “If you don’t like them, let it be. Don’t waste even 1 percent of your time on them. If you had Rs 100, would you spend it on something you don’t like? Of course, don’t spend. Spend time doing what you like. Instead wait outside the house of the girl you like.”
