The British doubles Craig and Lindsay Foreman, who began on a goal-wisdom motorcycle trip, was arrested in Iran last month. He has been accused of spying and has been accused of “presenting as tourists” in the country and collecting information about their custody.

Craig and Lindsay Foreman, a bold-lover couple in their initial fifties, crossed Armenia on 30 December in Iran and left for Pakistan till 4 January.

According to his Facebook profile, Lindsay has received a doctoral degree in coaching and advice from the University of Oxford Brooks. He also studied positive psychology at the University of East London. Her husband, Craig, is a carpenter, BBC said.

Married couples were active on social media and posted regular updates from Iran before their arrest. In a Facebook post on 3 January, Lindsay shared several pictures, writing, “The Onenance of Humanity.”
He mentioned that despite differences, he has seen some beautiful universal: mercy, humor, hospitality and shared love of good food! “
He said, “Let’s unite us, celebrate the truth of each other, and embrace the beauty of the connection.”
In the December 30 post on Facebook, he said that the couple were “moving forward” with their visit to Iran and Pakistan “friends, family and officials despite warning against it.
“Because we believe that, no matter what you are in the world, most people are good, compassionate humans are trying for a meaningful life,” he has written in his post.
Describing the couple as “just normal family members”, former Foreman’s neighbor Ellison Smith said that she was surprised by her decision to visit Iran,
“They felt that they were going to an adventure,” she told the BBC.
Ms. Smith said that “very sporty, very adventure” couple were on “load of adventures” in the past.
This is still not clear when Craig and Lindsay Foreman were detained. On 13 February, the Iranian state media reported that the two were in custody in charges related to British civilian security.
