Actress Alia Bhatt recently revealed that she and Ranbir Kapoor visited Jr NTR’s house in Hyderabad and discussed potential baby names. During a candid chat with filmmaker Karan Johar, both Alia and Jr NTR revealed that Jr NTR had expressed his wish to name his daughter Raha.

Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt worked together in SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster film RRR. Recently, while talking to Karan Johar, Alia revealed that Jr NTR invited her and Ranbir Kapoor for dinner after the promotional event of Brahmastra in Hyderabad. At this dinner, the group discussed possible baby names for Alia and Ranbir.

He said, “We spent a very warm evening on that terrace. I remember we were eating and chatting. It was the first time we discussed potential baby names in front of everyone. Ranbir said, ‘If it’s a girl, it will be this. If it’s a boy, it will be this.'” When Karan Johar asked if Raha (name) was discussed that night, Alia nodded. Jr NTR added, “I started praying, wishing it was Raha.”

On the work front, both Alia Bhatt and Jr NTR are gearing up for the release of their respective films Jigra and Devra: Part 1.

Starring Vedang Raina, Jigra will hit the theatres on October 11. Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Shaheen Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and Dharma Productions, Jigra revolves around a brother-sister duo. It also stars Manoj Pahwa.

Jr NTR’s Devraa: Part 1 is a much-awaited film that will release in theatres on September 27. Starring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, the high-octane action film is directed by Koratala Siva.
