Alia Bhatt made her BAFTA 2026 red carpet debut in a silver gown. Boong director Lakshipriya Devi, producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar also attended the event.

Actress Alia Bhatt debuted on the red carpet of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) 2026. He talked about the influence of his daughter Raha on his work and passion for cinema. Apart from Alia, Lakshmipriya Devi, who directed Boong, also graced the BAFTA 2026 red carpet. She was also accompanied by Boong producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
Alia, who made her red carpet debut in a Gucci silver sequin gown and a stunning white fur stole, was asked how excited she is about the BAFTAs and the films. The actor said, “I think I always say that I have come out of my mother’s womb and come into action. I feel myself in front of the camera. Being in front of the camera is a blessing for me. I feel very grateful that I love my work so deeply. But I have to say that my real source of inspiration and magic at the moment is my daughter. Look at her giggling, dancing to my songs, I feel that is what life is all about.”

Alia’s inclusion as a presenter at BAFTA 2026 is an important moment for Indian representation at the international awards show. She will join Cillian Murphy, Kate Hudson and Glenn Close at the awards ceremony.

This year’s BAFTA awards ceremony will also feature a remarkable line-up of nominees.
