But they refused to be a part of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding. Read on to know the reason!
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s marriage was rejected by The Wedding Filmer
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s balcony wedding made people realise that a couple and their families can enjoy the union of two people without spending a fortune. While these glimpses left everyone emotional, they were not captured by popular celebrity videographer The Wedding Filmer.
Ad-filmmaker Vishal Punjabi had a passion for shooting special moments of couples, which led him to set up The Wedding Filmer. One thing led to another and he became one of the videographers every soon-to-be-wed couple looked for.
So Punjabi couldn’t capture Alia and Ranbir’s beautiful moments on his camera. Talking to Shivani Pou, Vishal revealed that he wasn’t present when the Brahmastra cast got married.
Recalling the reason he turned down the celebrity wedding, he said he was booked for a wedding in London, which included a beautiful venue and a lovely bride. He said, “I wouldn’t change it for the world, even now. She was gorgeous, and it was a beautiful experience.”

B-Town celebrity weddings are often kept a closely guarded secret until the big day. Remember Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding cake was ordered eight hours before their reception? Well, that’s usually the case with wedding videographers too.
Speaking in the same interview, Vishal Punjabi, founder of The Wedding Filmer, said that many of these celebrities call him two weeks before their wedding as it is all a secret and no one gets to know. But the downside is that he is not available for most of them, he said, adding that he has not cancelled any wedding for any celebrity.
