Akshay Kumar led the beach clean-up drive in Mumbai, champion public response
Akshay Kumar actively participated in a beach clean-up drive at Juhu Beach in Mumbai, which joined the hands with Amut Fadnavis and BMC officials to promote environmental responsibility.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was seen making a difference at Juhu Beach, Mumbai, September 7, Sunday morning, where he participated in a beach clean-up drive. The initiative took place a day after Ganpati immersion and saw that Kumar joined hands with Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani in efforts to promote environmental responsibility.
The video roaming on social media caught Kumar actively collecting garbage with volunteers, urging citizens to take ownership of cleanliness. Kumar commented, “Knowledge teaches us to maintain cleanliness. Our Prime Minister has also emphasized that it is not only the responsibility of the government or BMC, but a collective duty of every citizen.”

Amruuta Fadnavis also praised the efforts by appreciating the work being done under the cleanliness drive.
With his participation in a clean-up drive, Kumar recently made headlines by pledging Rs 5 crore to support the relief from floods in Punjab. Kumar described the Act not as a donation but as Service To the needy people.
On the professional front, Akshay Kumar is set for the release of ‘Jolly LLB 3’ set for September 19.
