Bajirao Singham is back in theaters as Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, will hit the screens on November 1, 2024. Starring Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles, the much-awaited film takes inspiration from the Hindu epic, Ramayana. After the news of Singham Again being banned in Saudi Arabia, a new report has claimed that Ajay Devgan-starrer Singham Again has been postponed in Singapore after facing trouble with the censor board.
If a new report by Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, Singham Again has been pushed by a week and is now expected to release on November 7, 2024. According to sources, the release date of Ajay and Kareena’s film has been delayed due to the censor board. The process was not completed on time.
According to the report, the source said that the Singapore Censor Board is very ‘strict’ regarding the release of the film. The source said, “The Singapore Censor Board is very strict and specific and is known to behave this way. Many films have suffered in a similar manner in the past.”
Meanwhile, on October 30, 2024, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that Ajay Devgan-starrer Singham Again has been banned in Saudi Arabia due to its depiction of ‘religious conflict’. Singham Again is clashing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office on November 1.
Kartik Aryan is playing the lead role of Rooh Baba in this film directed by Anees Bazmee. The upcoming horror comedy has also been banned in the Arab nation. It is because of the homosexual references that it has resulted in the Saudi government banning it. It features Kartik in a romantic pairing with Trupti Dimri. Actresses Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan are playing important roles in the film.
Ajay Devgan is reprising his role of DCP Bajirao Singham in the film Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. Kareena Kapoor has been cast as his on-screen wife Avni Kamat who gets kidnapped and saved by Bajirao.
Singham Again is the sequel to Singham Returns (2014) which starred Ajay and Kareena in the lead roles. Shetty’s directorial debut also stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Jackie Shroff in important roles. Arjun Kapoor is playing the role of a villain in the film.
