Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed their first child, a baby girl, at a hospital in Mumbai on September 8, 2024. Since then the couple has been away from the public eye, leaving their fans desperate to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars. Adding to their happiness, the Bajirao Mastani couple bought a luxurious new Range Rover car which is reportedly worth Rs 4.74 crore.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Ranveer Singh gifted himself an expensive Range Rover 4.4 LWB just weeks after the arrival of his wife Deepika Padukone’s first child. In a clip that went viral online, a green vehicle with his signed ‘6969’ number plate can be seen parked at his residence complex. This is the fourth car in Ranveer’s collection with the same vehicle number.
Last month, Ranveer and Deepika had announced the arrival of their baby girl with a social media post that read, “Welcome baby girl!” Soon after making the lovely announcement, celebs like Nick Jonas, Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor, Shreya Ghoshal, Dia Mirza, Rhea Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and many others took to the comments section to shower love on the new parents.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the celebrity couple will soon be seen together in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming action film Singham Again. The film also stars Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. Deepika Shetty will make her debut as Shakti Shetty, the first female policewoman in the cop franchise. The film will release theatrically on November 1. While DP will be on maternity leave till March 2025, Singh is set to resume shooting for Aditya Dhar’s project in early November.
An industry insider exclusively tells Pinkvilla, “We have had a very productive shoot in Bangkok, Thailand. Now, Ranveer is all set to get back to shooting in November for the next schedule. We can’t give away details about the different locations at this time, but excitement is very high for the next chapter after the high quality product we’ve seen on screen with the first schedule. It is noteworthy that the shooting of the film will last for more than 6 months and will be released on the big screen in the second half of 2025.
