Sunita Ahuja reacts to Govinda’s apology over the remarks he made about her family priest. He said that he did not like Govinda apologizing publicly on his behalf.
Actor Govinda had recently condemned the statement given by his wife Sunita Ahuja against their family priest. Now Sunita has shared a video on her YouTube vlog and said that she would never want Govinda to apologize for her comment.
Sunita said, “I have been hearing a lot that I have used some wrong words. My wonderful Govinda ji, who is my husband, has also apologized with folded hands. Which I did not like at all because let me tell you one thing, Chi Chi, I would not want you to ever come for me in front of anyone.” Hath add (I am hearing things like I have said something wrong. For this my dear husband Govinda had to apologize. I did not like this at all because I would never want him to apologize in front of anyone because of me).”
“I did not take anyone’s name, I spoke about anyone in particular. Some such things had happened with me, that’s why I spoke. If you people felt bad, then I want to apologize with folded hands to the Guruji of every Siddha Peeth and the Guruji of every place, if anyone felt bad. I have spoken about the experience that has happened with me. Currently, there were 3-3 Pandits at Govinda Ji’s place, they had to give an explanation that no one was necessary. I never want that Govinda should do this. Guri ji did not have to apologize, I did not like it and I would never want him to do this again.
Govinda had publicly distanced himself from his wife Sunita’s comments about Pandit Mukesh Shukla. He issued an apology and expressed his utmost respect for his family priest. In a video statement, the actor said, “My wife made derogatory remarks against Pandit Mukesh Shukla on a podcast and I condemn them. I apologize… Pandit Mukesh Shukla and his family have been with me through difficult times, and I respect them greatly.”
During a conversation with Paras Chhabra on his YouTube channel, Sunita had earlier said, “We also have a Pandit of Govinda in our house. He is also like this – get the puja done, give Rs 2 lakh. I tell him that you should pray yourself.” The puja performed by them is of no use. (Their rituals are not going to be of any use to you).” The conversation also discussed rumors about Govinda’s personal life, especially affair allegations.
The couple had earlier dismissed rumors about their divorce and termed such speculations as baseless.
