Google is expected to announce its next generation of pixel phones soon, and further, a fresh leakage has revealed almost all major glasses of the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. While the company has not confirmed the launch date, the Pixel 10 lineup is expected to break the cover for some time in August. The upcoming Pro model has been tipped to Google’s next-gene in-house chip, better battery life, and slightly sharp charging, although overall design and camera hardware may not have a huge change. The leak from Android headlines takes a detailed look at what users can expect from Google’s top-end pixel phone this year.

Tensor G5 Chip to power the new pixel?

One of the major changes of this year is expected to come under the hood. Both Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will be allegedly operated by Google’s new Tensor G5 chipset, which is the successor of the Tensor G4 seen on the Pixel 9 series. This chipset is expected to improve AI processing, efficiency and overall system performance.

Google is also carrying forward the memory game. The Pixel 10 Pro model is likely to come up with RAM up to 16GB, which should make multitasking smooth and provide more liquid performance, especially when combined with the latest version of Android. In terms of storage, regular Pixel 10 Pro has been tipped to 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and even to come to 1TB variants, while Pro can leave the XL base variants and start at 256GB.

The same performance size, bright screen?

In the shape context, a slight change appears. The Pixel 10 Pro has been extended to facilitate a 6.3-inch display, while Pixel 10 Pro XL can offer a 6.8-inch screen. Both phones will probably use Ltpo OLED panels with fresh rates of up to 120Hz and support the peak level of up to 3,000nits, an upgrade that should help in bright external conditions. These displays are expected to be preserved by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 from both sides, which offers better scratches and drop resistance.

Camera setup may remain unchanged

While Google is allegedly performing internal improvement in performance and battery, the camera hardware may be the same as last year’s Pixel 9 Pro lineup. Both Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are expected to be capable of 50-megapixel primary sensor, 48-megapixel ultravide lens and 48-megapixel telephoto camera, 5X optical zoom.

The leaked information also suggests that both ultravide and telephoto sensors will support macro photography, providing more flexibility to users who prefer to shoot close-up shots. At the front, the selfie camera may find a slight collision for a 42-megapixel, which can improve video call clarity and expansion in selfie.

Big battery and better charging

Battery upgrades are also on the card. The Pixel 10 Pro may have a 4,870mAh battery in May, which is a slight increase on the 4,700mAh cell of the Pixel 9 Pro. Meanwhile, the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL is rumored to pack 5,200mAh battery, which has the highest battery capacity in the pixel device.

Charging speed is also expected to improve slightly. Pixel 10 Pro can support 29W wired charging, while Pixel 10 Pro XL can go further with 39W fast charging. Both phones are asked to support 15W wireless charging.
