Actor Adil Hussain recently shared a post on X after a fan mistakenly praised him for winning a medal at the Paris Olympics, confusing him with Turkish shooter Yusuf Dicek. Yusuf Dicek won a silver medal.
On Friday, an x user shared a collage of photos of Yusuf Dikeç and Adil Hussein, writing, “Congratulations Sir @_AdilHussain on winning silver at Olympics 2024 for Turkey. Respect.”
In response, Adil jokingly said, “I wish that were true. Maybe it’s not too late to start practising… Since I have the attitude, I now need to work on the skill set.”

After the post went viral, the actor told Hindustan Times He added that it was done intentionally by the social media user, “I don’t think the tweet was a misunderstanding. It was done intentionally as a joke, so I wasn’t surprised when I saw it. Instead, I found it really funny and amusing.”
Talking about the work front, Adil is currently seen in ‘Uljhan’ with Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah. This film is released in theaters on 2 August.
